Our Mumbai Research Team :
ISS MI Research is establishing a new research team in Mumbai located within our existing ISS premises. The new team will form an integral part of our global, as well as country-specific—US, Canadian and Australian—research operations, with exciting opportunities to contribute to growing our global research and analytical insights capital around the world.
The position of Associate, ISS MI Content design, represents an exciting opportunity to shape and make a significant contribution to the global Product / Distribution research & Consulting teams of ISS MI.
Responsibilities :
The Associate’s design production and content creation focus will be broadly exploring wide range of designs, creating visual aspects & illustrations of ISS MI reports that align with company’s values & objectives. Specifically on a day-to-day basis the Associate responsibilities could encompass the following :
  • Collaborating with research team to understand the research outputs
  • Brainstorming, and strategizing with the research and production team for a wide range of designs
  • Create visual aspects of content, including infographics for multiple research reports on a periodical basis
  • Working independently and manage multiple design projects with the production team, meeting deadlines, and completing the designs based on the requirements.
  • Generating novel ideas for content design & illustrations that align with the company’s objectives
  • Develop the layout and design of research reports.

Position Qualifications :
The ISS MI Research environment is best suited to self-starting, highly motivated individuals who are able to deal with the pressures of learning/researching, developing analyses and delivering research outputs within specific timelines.
  • An undergraduate or graduate degree from a well-recognized university in economics, finance, commerce, business administration. Other disciplines such as mathematics, statistics or social sciences will be considered in combination with experience.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in the content creation, design, would be desirable.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office productivity software (Excel and PowerPoint).

Overview of Role:
The Traveler Counsellor role at GBT is to deliver exceptional travel service experience for our Corporate Business Customers. By working together as a high performing team, our Travel Counsellors provide exceptional traveler care, first call resolution and the highest quality of customer service to GBT corporate clients. It is a high touch service environment, where you will have true accountability for the service relationship and customer experience, by providing creative and timely travel solutions, using available tools and technology as needed, while maximizing supplier revenue.
The role will form part of a highly skilled team of Corporate Travel Counsellors located virtually from home, at one of our Business Travel Centers or on-site at client locations. The role will report to a Team Coach.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating in a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week team, with variable shift opportunities for days, nights and weekends.
  • Act as Travel Advisor and Consultant to a single or multiple Corporate Business accounts with the willingness to jump in and flexibility in shifts to meet client needs
  • Act as the point of sale on all Domestic & International travel requirements, arranging both routine and complex travel for air, rail, car, and Hotel accommodation, utilizing one or multiple Global Distribution Systems (GDS), Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, Amadeus.
  • Provide consultative advice, solutions and recommendations. Additionally, pro-actively selling additional service for our travelers (e.g. Hotel and Car), whilst ensuring adherence to the customers agreed travel policy and requirements
  • Complying with all legal standard requirements, which include mandatory training, compliance and sanctions
  • Deliver expectations on individual/shared team goals and support all business Key Performance Indicators. Proactively review your metrics to check on and improve performance
  • Follow internal compliance and regulatory requirements for all customers and locations supported
  • Manage the end-to-end booking process through the ticketing and order fulfillment, either over the telephone, via messaging or via email or back office systems and servicing platforms.
  • Operate in a telephony servicing environment where you are accountable to key performance indicators of success, such as customer satisfaction (CSAT), key productivity metrics (for example call adherence and call service metrics), and driving key partnerships and sale of preferred air and hotel partners
  • Operate in a Multi-Channel servicing environment where you are accountable to key performance indicators of success, such as customer satisfaction (CSAT), key productivity metrics (for example call adherence and call service metrics
  • Use positive telephone service techniques; act on special customer requests and maintain excellent client relations

  • Coach, develop and mentor more junior Travel Counsellor colleagues in the team as needed
  • Express enthusiasm and energy within the organization and always act according to company ethics, values and Compliance guidelines.
Additional Accountabilities

  • Investigates/action Travel Counsellors reservations/PNR for ticketing, quality/accuracy, client escalations or lowest fare (e.g., CSI/CSR, Trailblazer)
Key Qualifications and Attributes:
  • Detailed understanding of fares and ticketing rules, for car, air, hotel travel
  • Knowledge and experience of:
    • Air, rail, hotel, car booking
    • Calculating and Processing exchanges
    • High proficiency in one or multiple GDS

About the Position

The Sr Program Associate – Scholar Connect is a crucial role in conceptualizing core services offered by YDF to secondary & college-level students. S/he identifies potential candidates for retail/private scholarships and ensures personalized support for university readiness.

The Sr Associate works with:

  • Past & incoming Scholars: to ensure effective utilization of scholarships & drive university readiness program
  • Scholar Saathis: to drive smooth functioning of our scholarships & university readiness programs
  • Program Manager: to support in managing partnerships with scholarship providers

Overview

  • Job Type: Full-time; contract to be renewed annually
  • Salary: ₹ 30,000 – ₹ 35,000 per month, salary commensurate with experience and expertise
  • Probation: Three months; salary during probation to be ₹ 2-3,000 less than a full-time salary
  • Office timings: Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm
  • Reporting To: State Lead Bihar

Key responsibilities

They are expected to take up the following responsibilities:

Self-learning

  • Keeps up-to-date with official information of various private & government scholarship schemes
  • Regularly explores various online/offline events, programs, opportunities relevant to scholars

Program Design

  • Creates tools, SOPs, frameworks for selection of students for various scholarship projects
  • Defines evaluation
  • Identifies challenges & insights for current & upcoming scholars
  • Incorporates best practices from national & global programs
  • Create presentations, develop documents and other collaterals as required

Partner Engagement

  • Regularly communicate to our scholarship providers progress metrics of scholars or progress updates of the scholarship selection process
  • Co-creates program design for university readiness with program partners & knowledge partners
  • Maintains continued relationships with scholar outreach partners
  • Customizes communication templates for each of our scholarship providers

Project Management

  • Leads a team of 2-3 Scholar Saathis’ and is responsible for resolving their challenges
  • Plans & executes end-to-end selection & renewal processes, including application forms, shortlisting, virtual/offline interviews & FGDs, etc.
  • Verifies educational & other details and maintains a repository of information for each applicant in the larger YDF database
  • Identifies & recommends ideal candidates for receiving new scholarships & renewing currently offered scholarships
  • Monitors & drives execution of engagement with school & university students
  • Helps in managing the office activities along with the larger YDF team

Desired Profile

  • Excellent computer skills (MS Excel, MS PPT, and Google Spreadsheets etc.)
  • 3-4 years of experience in youth empowerment and/or community-based operations (freshers with exceptional credentials may also be considered)
  • Proven ability to develop program designs and/or partner engagement
  • Proven ability to independently handle multiple diverse assignments simultaneously, successfully complete assigned tasks and meet deadlines while conducting high-quality work
  • Excellent verbal & written communication in Hindi, English (and any local language)
  • Proven ability to effectively lead a team
